The Statement Sleeve

Over the last few seasons there has been a definite focus on the sleeve; starting on A/W15 catwalks, the likes of Stella McCartney, Giorgio Armani and The Row have been using the 'Extra Long Sleeve' which has quickly progressed into the S/S16 Statement Sleeve trend. Be it bell shaped, embroidered, ruffled or simply oversized, the sleeve is having it's moment.

This ASOS top (now sold out) combines the statement sleeve trend with the off-the-shoulder trend and a boho vibe, alternatively this ASOS Off The Shoulder Top with Ruffle Sleeves is the perfect marriage of these trends in a more minimalistic way - and three colour ways.

The Statement Sleeve is a trend that you can dress up or down, I've dressed down with some Mom Jeans that I got vintage in Ibiza last summer. Topshop are the best for Petite Mom Jeans, find your own here.

I don't know if you've ever heard of the shop Tiger, but they've just started appearing on the UK high street selling what I can only describe as 'bits and bobs'. Even if you don't buy anything they're fun just to go in and walk around! Their store is quite random, which is why it was a pleasant surprise to find these sunglasses for only £4! So, if you happen to see a Tiger store, it's definitely worth a look inside.

This Small Shoulder Bag from H&M is the perfect nod toward the iconic ChloĆ© Faye bag without being a too close of a replica, for faux leather it has a beautiful feel to it and is actually big enough to use conveniently day-to-day.

Birkenstock shoes are the tip of the iceberg that is the Ugly Shoe trend that we've seen over the last few years (no, this is not a joke). Comfort first, right? Take a look here. They just might be your new favourite shoes...in a love to hate kind of way.
